 RACE SUPERSERIES With a Little Help From My Friends...
09/24/05 SHANNONVILLE, ON — After winning the Parts Canada Suzuki SV650 Cup Championship, 15 year-old rookie amateur Karl Daigle got a little help from mentor and Yamaha factory racer, Pascal Picotte. Just before the RACE Superseries final round, Picotte stopped by Daigle's Roxton Pond, Quebec home to lend Daigle his Picotte Racing Yamaha R6, along with some fuel and tires. In his first weekend racing a 600, Karl Daigle finished a very impressive 3rd in Amateur 600 Sportbike, along with a 7th and 3rd in Superbike. Back riding his Suzuki SV650, Daigle managed not only a 2nd in SVCup, but also a 5th in Sportsman Middleweight which was enough to win him the regional championship. Congratulations Karl! |
